Training

Our training fleet has been upgraded from 2 seater Cessna 152's to the new 4 seater Diamond Star DA40 - turbo diesel aircraft which are state of the art and very enjoyable to fly.

If your planned destinations are within England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland then all you need is the National Private Pilots Licence (NPPL).

In less than an hour from take-off you could be in Le Touquet or Calais. If you want to fly around Europe you will need the JAA PPL.

We offer a short course for friends or spouses who would like to be Safety Pilots.

If you want to fly at night you need an appropriate rating. Night Rating can be obtained as part of your course or added after you have achieved your licence.

If you want to fly in poor weather conditions you will need to rely on your cockpit instruments, and on your understanding of them. Mastering these skills will gain you your IMC Rating.

We also have a Simulator available for upcoming IMC and IR tests and renewals
